Food Grade Xanthan Gum
Introduction:
Xanthan
Gum is a natural Biopolymer that is produced in a special Fermentation
process from the bacterium Xanthamonas compestris. Food Grade
Xanthan Gum can be widely used as salt/acid resistant thickener,
high efficient suspension agent and emulsifier, high viscosity
filling agent in various food and beverages.
Advantages of Xanthan Gum:
- Xanthan gum functionality is not influenced by salts, pH,
acids, alkalis or enzymes.
- It is compatible with most synthetic and natural hydrocolloids
and is used to create synergies in producing desired textures,
water retention, and mouth feel
- Xanthan gum is soluble in both hot and cold water and is stable
over a wide range of pH levels and temperatures
- Xanthan gum solutions are very pseudoplastic; as shear stress
is increased solution viscosity decreases progressively -- as
shear stress is reduced, solution viscosity returns almost instantaneously
to its starting viscosity

Pharmaceutical Grade Xanthan Gum
Introduction:
Pharmaceutical & Fine Chemical Grade Xanthan Gum can be
used as thickener and stabilizer in liquid or ointment medicine,
cosmetic, oral care products, household lotion. The addition of
a small amount (0.1-0.2%)of Xanthan gum increases effectiveness.
Improving in ointment-delamination, improved feeling & extrusion,
helping product dispersion & increased absorbency. Improves
the wet-keeping & film-forming ability, extending the spreading
effect.

Aloe Vera
Introduction
Yuanjiang is the birthplace of the wild Chinese aloe and has been
identified as one of the best areas in the world for the growing
of aloe. The annual average temperature is 23.8o C and the minimum
monthly average temperature is 16.7oC. The annual average rainfall
is approximately 800 mm and annual evaporation amount over 2,000
mm with 2,261 hrs of annual sunshine. It is typically dry and
hot valley climate with sufficient sunshine, free from frost and
natural disasters.
Currently the Company's Yuanjiang plantation base produces 30,000
tons of fresh aloe leaves per year from a production base of over
500 hectares.

Evergreen Group was founded in 1999. Evergreen boasts 5 state-of-the-art
processing lines with advanced processing technology. It is the
first aloe enterprise of China to have its production equipment
certified by the International Aloe Science Council (IASC).
Evergreen
adopted membrane technology for aloe processing and product manufacture.
This enables separation, purification, concentration and disinfection
to be conducted at normal temperatures. Having membrane technology,
the most advanced technology in the world, guarantees a full preservation
of the active components of aloe.
Evergreen production workshops were constructed in strict conformity
to the GMP standards. The 100,000-class air purification system
ensures a germfree environment for production through out the
process. The production is carried out under HACCP.
Evergreen aloe products are exported to over 40 countries and
regions in Europe, USA, Sth America, Australia, New Zealand and
Southeast Asia. It has the leading market share in Europe, Asia
and New Zealand.
Evergreen Group Aloe is grown under organic conditions. Evergreen
Aloe product has Organic certification (under conversion) with
full certification expected in September 2008.
Only
the fields certified as suitable for organic food growing environment
are selected for aloe growing.
- The plantation base is surrounded by trenches 50cm wide and
40-50cm deep for drainage on the one hand and prevention of
farming water from flowing into the base lands on the other.
- No chemical, only organic fertilizers only are used. No agricultural
chemicals are used.
- At present prevention of pests and diseases is achieved by
employing various farming techniques and keeping ecological
balance.
- Carefully washing transport tools to avoid pollution of aloe
leaves by substances harmful to human health.
