Dunnage
Bags
ECPs KING Inflatable Dunnage bags are the logical answer
to eliminate your shipping damage and their associated expenses.
Dunnage bags have an outstanding stabilizing capacity, withstanding
tons of pressure and resistance to load shifting. These highly
effective dunnage bags are constructed of layers of high strength
extensible woven plastic laminated paper, multilayer paper or
woven PP. In all cases the inner liner is coated with polyethylene
film for added protection against loss of air pressure.
Our dunnage bags are widely used in many different industries
ranging from low weight and/or highly fragile products like wine
glass, up to very heavy items like jumbo paper rolls or bulk bags
shipments of powdered product and frozen product.
Our dunnage bags are available in many different sizes to meet
your needs.
Kraft/woven Laminated
Dunnage bag
Material
Description:
The future of Dunnage bags. The outer shell of the King dunnage
bag is made from a high wet strength virgin Kraft paper which
is then reinforced by laminating with a PP and PE woven bag delivering
unsurpassable strength. This gives the bag a durability equivalent
to a 4 ply bag. These bags were tested at the Auckland school
of Engineering to 20.3 tonne breaking strength. The core of the
dunnage bag, the bladder for containing the compressed air, is
made from multi-layered LDPE. This combination ensures the best
possible protection for your cargo and a user-friendly product.

Dri® II
Eliminate mold, corrosion, peeling labels and other harmful
effects of moisture during shipping and storage.
Applications:
Shipment/Storage of Automotive, Bulk Packaged Grains/Milled Products,
Food, Powders, Glass, Wood, Pet Food, Canned Goods, Perishable
Goods & More.
What is it?
Container Dri® II is a specially designed desiccant aimed
at protecting cargo during shipping by absorbing moisture vapor
from the air. In doing so, Container Dri II reduces dew point
temperature (the temperature at which condensation begins to form,
causing "container rain"), keeping cargo dry and safe.
All Container Dri II product configurations contain a patented
formulation of calcium chloride and a gelling agent to absorb
and trap moisture.
Why use it?
As goods move through intermodal systems, they are susceptible
to water damage from the condensation of moisture due to high
humidity levels and day-to-night temperature fluctuations. Container
Dri II adds a new level of protection in containers by ensuring
moisture reduction.
Container Dri II absorbs up to three times its weight in moisture,
and through an advanced formula, traps it as a thick gel. In addition,
by using Container Dri II in refrigerated or non-refrigerated
containers, cargo will remain fresh for an extended period of
time in dryer atmospheric conditions.
Container Dri II has the ability to protect shipments from start
to finish, through all temperature ranges and relative humidity
variances.
Available Configurations
Container Dri II is available in both strip and as single bags.
Container Dri II Strip is the only solution on the market with
an adhesive backing that ensures easy installation onto the walls
of shipping containers or inside storage warehouses. Individual
bags can be placed between stacks of cargo. An advanced hanging
configuration, Container Dri II Plus, is also available.

usage requirements, contact us.
We also offers Container Dri II Plus, Desiccant Bags and Humidity
Indicator Cards for the logistics industry.

ThermaFreeze®
Ice packs
ThermaFreeze® is your modern-day solution in temperature
control for the transporting of fresh, perishable and heat sensitive
products. Unlike conventional wet or dry ice, offers more advantages
for you to ensure optimum conditioning of your products for transportation.
No more melting ice to spoil packed products. No more handling
and storage difficulty like dry ice.
Typical
applications:
Export of fresh seafoods, fresh fruits, vegetables, and flowers,
bee larvae, vaccines, serums and medical products. The extra cooling
ability of makes it ideal for air transport shipments. A further
advantage is that Aqui-Pads will retain a capacity to absorb condensation
and residual aqueous fluids, ensuring the interior of the carton
remains dry to retain high quality of produce.
What are they?
ThermaFreeze® are pads of cellular construction that are hydrated
in water and then frozen. They are a replacement forTraditional
ice with out the inherrant problems of ice.
The Ingenous
features of Thermafreeze®
Freeze Factor
ThermaFreeze® excellent 'freezing duration' factor when packaged
under proper conditions, makes it much more economical and vastly
superior as an invaluable chilling aid to conventional ice. ThermaFreeze®
is ingeniously efficient as a chilling aid that you need to pack
1/3 less, in relation to conventional ice. This alone ensures
you immediate additional savings on air freight charges plus extra
space for you to pack more products.
Flexibility
In its unhydrated state, ThermaFreeze® is lightweight and
compact for easy handling and operation efficiency. It can also
be conveniently stored for future usage as and when needed.
Because of its cellular construction, ThermaFreeze® is inherently
flexible, even when fully hydrated and frozen. It can be folded
or bent along the divisions between the sachet cells to adjust
to the shape of the products being packed. For example, a fresh
tuna fish can be lined with ThermaFreeze® with the sachet
cells inserted into its belly cavity to ensure maximum chill control
during transportation.
Fluid Retention
ThermaFreeze® unique formulation is designed for total moisture
control to prevent dehydration and to efficiently retain fluid
when thawing finally occurs. ThermaFreeze® absolutely does
not leak fluid when fully saturated.

Supasorb
Large Absorbent Pads
These pads are designed to fit Airfreight and Seafreight containers.
Condensation in Seafreight Containers
As shipping containers pass through tropical areas it is common
for a significant amount of condensation to form inside the containers.
If you are shipping plastic this doesn't matter too much, but
what about other products?
Peanuts being shipped from the Northern Hemisphere to Southern
Hemisphere countries are very susceptible to fungi. Wet peanuts
can be infected by a fungi which produces harmful toxins. To prevent
this it is possible to line the ceiling, and sometimes the walls,
of a container with Thermasorb Seafreight Blankets. Each blanket
will absorb 50 litres of condensation. Four blankets will absorb
a fuel drum's worth of water. The result is dry healthy peanuts.
Any water sensitive products will benefit from the Seafreight
Blanket such as dry chemicals, dry foodstuffs and items made from
steel or iron that are not corrosion resistant.
Spillage in an Airfreight Container
LD3 Air Cargo Containers can have their floor lined with a single
Thermasorb LD3 Air Cargo Blanket. Any liquid spills will be absorbed
by the blanket which will absorb up to 45 litres of fresh water.
This prevents unwanted liquids finding their way into aircraft
holds.
Visit the How to Use page for information on the use of these
large ab LD3 Air Cargo Container - Use 1 x LD3 Air Cargo pad.
20' (6 metre) Shipping Container - Use 4 x Shipping Blankets
40' (12 metre) Shipping Container - Use 8 x Shipping Blankets
sorbent pads. Technical Data is also available.
Large Pads are used in different ways. Guide lines follow.
LD3 Air Cargo Container - The pad is placed across
the bottom of the container and packaged product is stacked directly
on top. This will prevent leakage from the packages reaching the
interior of the aircraft.
Shipping Containers - The pads may be placed on
the floor of the container if content leakage is expected. If
the purpose of the pad is to prevent condensation damaging the
contents of the container (e.g. peanuts going mouldy) then the
pads need to be strung across the ceiling of the container and
the walls may need lining as well.
